Features & Benefits
- The Browning® CRES SS 300 Series stainless steel mounted ball bearings are available in the Browning 200 Series (normal duty) bearing from ¾" to 1 ½" shaft diameter and 4 housing styles.
- The housing features:
- Passivated, 300 Series stainless steel investment cast housing for true corrosion resistance.
- Solid base construction with low surface porosity. Machined base for smooth, easy to clean surface with minimal gaps and fillings, allowing fewer places for bacteria to grow.
- Part number is permanently marked on the housing and is not an entrapment point for bacteria.
- The bearing insert features:
- 400 Series stainless steel balls and races for corrosion resistance - no coatings or films.
- 300 Series stainless steel retainer - a strong, "non-plastic" material.
- Molded silicone rubber contact seal with 300 Series stainless steel flinger is chemically resistant for wash-down environments.
- Anti-rotation rivet prevents outer ring creep, or rotation, within the housing.
- H1 USDA/FDA compliant food grade grease.
