Rinser Application Solutions

Rinser

Wet environments and high speeds in rinser applications require equipment that can stand up to tough conditions. Emerson Power Transmission provides chain solutions for both inline and lowerator gripper rinsers. Emerson also offers a broad range of bearing and gearing solutions for rinser equipment.

CONVEYING COMPONENTS
Morse® Topveyor® gripper chain
  • Gripper material exerts the right force reducing product deformation
  • Pliable rubber grippers retain shape and position
  • Gripper securely fastened to flight by a stainless steel pin that eliminates pop-offs and downtime
  • Fingers cover a larger area of containers - providing better handling
SealMaster Rinser Bearing
Morse Gripper Chain
  • Stainless and carbon steel base chain options for mechanical strength and corrosion resistance
  • DK flights - a superior grade of DuPont Delrin* resin, reinforced with Kevlar*, provides low coefficient of friction, reduces elongation, reduces dusting and works well for applications where lubrication is difficult
Ultop* USP Series DK chain features low friction DK flights

GEARING SOLUTIONS
Browning® Series 3000 helical, inline, helical worm and helical bevel, enclosed gearmotors and speed reducers
  • Wide range of gearing and input styles - gearmotor, input shaft, C-Face and scoop
  • Innovative, self locking tapered shaft connection also allows onsite motor replacement without removing oil or primary pinion for gearmotor economy with C-Face convenience
  • Broad line of motor ends - TEFC (single phase and 3 phase), explosionproof, Corro-Duty®, inverter duty, brakemotor
  • Efficient right angle and parallel shaft gearmotors and speed reducers available with hollow shaft, patented tapered bushing system
    - Single reversible bushing
    - Tapered stabilizing ring minimizes wobble and fretting corrosion
    - Optional bushing end covers available
  • Drop-in interchangeability with industry standard units
BEARING SOLUTIONS
Sealmaster® Rinser Bearings
  • Special rinser bearings for vertical shafts prevent water buildup on seals
  • Special turn disk bearings reduce misalignment to keep the wheels running true
Sealmaster PN Gold Bearings
  • Patented, multiple lip high performance seal (HPS) design for proven performance in combiners that are soap-lubed and high pressure washed
  • Strong, high phosphorus, electroless, nickel coated steel insert resists corrosion better than most competitive inserts in soap-lubed and pressure washdown conditions
  • Passivated 316 stainless steel housing resists chemical corrosion in high pressure washdown environments
Competitor Chain & Bearing
  • Reinforced composite plastic housings available to eliminate corrosion and provide housing strength comparable to cast iron units in washdown combiners
  • USDA/FDA-compliant, food grade, Sealmaster® GoldPlex®-FG H1 grease
  • End caps and backside shields are available if high pressure washdown is used to keep combiner sanitary
  • Extra wide outer race holds an increased grease charge for optimal lubrication on wet combiner applications
