Introducing Series HwN3000 - Right Angle Helical-Worm Enclosed Gearmotors and Speed Reducers

Emerson Power Transmission is pleased to now offer a new right angle helical-worm gear line. The HwN3000 product has critical mounting dimensions that interchange with SEW-Eurodrive* and other European style modular helical-worm gear drives, in addition to the Browning® HwN20-25 units that it replaces as well. Additionally, HwN is assembled-to-order for ready availability in a multitude of arrangements.

Browning® HwN Series 3000, a full line of enclosed gearmotors and speed reducers, is designed with a broad range of standard input configurations. It also is available in left, right, or dual shafted output and straight finished bore or tapered bushed output variations, with foot, face, or flange mounting. This makes for a very flexible product offering that satisfies the needs of a broad range of applications. The gearmotor input provides a cost effective OEM solution, and the exclusive tapered shaft connection allows the motor to be replaced in the field without opening the oil sump or disturbing the gearing and seals.

The patented, reversible tapered bushing system also used in the Torque Taper Plus product line is now available in HwN3000. This system includes the stabilizing ring that prevents wobble and makes for a very reliable connection to the driven shaft that resists fretting corrosion, while reducing shaft wear.

Finally, HwN3000 utilizes the same motors available on all modular gearmotors from Emerson Power Transmission. This includes the industry's widest variety of gearmotor enclosures and types, including Corro-Duty® Cast Iron, Explosion Proof, Inverter Duty (NEMA MG1, part 31 compliant), Premium Efficiency and more.
