Emerson Power Transmission is pleased to now offer a new helical shaft mount gear line. The MbN3000 product has quill diameters and flange dimensions that interchange with SEW-Eurodrive* and other European style modular shaft mount gear drives. Units are available that interchange with the Browning® MbN22-25 units that it replaces as well. Additionally, MbN is assembled-to-order for ready availability in a multitude of arrangements.

Browning® MbN Series 3000, a full line of enclosed gearmotors and speed reducers, is designed with a broad range of standard input configurations. As an alternative to the Browning Torque Taper Plus product line, MbN offers 68 different standard ratios ranging from 4:1 - 10,000:1. This allows it to provide the output speed required by the application with an economical, reliable gearmotor input or the convenience and compact envelope of a c-face input. That makes it a very cost effective solution for the OEM or a full-featured solution that uses a NEMA standard motor connection for simple motor replacement.

The patented, reversible tapered bushing system used in the Torque Taper Plus product line is now available in MbN3000. This system includes the stabilizing ring that prevents wobble and makes for a very reliable connection to the driven shaft that resists fretting corrosion, while reducing shaft wear.

Another addition to the MbN3000 line is the screw conveyor drive version. This version may be used with a standard explosion proof gearmotor input for a powerful application solution in the grain handling industry.

Finally, MbN3000 utilizes the same motors available on all modular gearmotors from Emerson Power Transmission. This includes the industry's widest variety of gearmotor enclosures and types, including Corro-Duty® Cast Iron, Explosion Proof, Inverter Duty (NEMA MG1, part 31 compliant), Premium Efficiency and more.
