EPT EDGE FAQs consist of a compilation of product specific
resources covering the complete range of Emerson Power Transmission
products. Whether you need to know who to contact for certification
of compliance or seek technical data related to vibration
frequencies or specific bearing materials, the new FAQs module
allows you to search through 13 subjects or enter a keyword text
search. You can also sort through the FAQs by product type, series
or brand.
"We developed these FAQs as an additional way to access helpful
product information and enhance our commitment to excellent customer
service," said Jim Porter, Vice President of Engineering for Emerson
Power Transmission. "Both our customers, as well as our own customer
service representatives, can now find answers to their power
transmission questions at any time of the day, from any part of the
world."
The online module is a work in progress and FAQs will continue to be
added to the growing knowledge base. Each division within Emerson
Power Transmission has the ability to easily add their own updated
FAQ materials. In addition, content will frequently be reviewed to
eliminate outdated information.
"The online FAQs are a culmination of months and months of work and
represent our continued effort to update and enhance customer tools,"
said Ian Rubin, Manager of Application Engineering. "When we launch
the new content mid-June, we’ll have over 500 FAQs."
Some of the content contained within the new EPT EDGE FAQs module
will be accessible to non-registered web site visitors; however,
full access to all FAQs is available to registered EDGE users.
