Features & Benefits

  • Browning® CRES CZ composite mounted ball bearings with zinc coated ball bearing are available in the Browning 200 Series (normal duty) bearing from ¾” to 1 ½” shaft diameter and 4 housing styles.
  • The housing features:
    • High strength reinforced composite housing with reinforced stainless steel ferrules around the bolt slots for increased strength.
    • Solid base construction with low surface porosity. Machined base for smooth, easy to clean surface with minimal gaps and fillings, allowing fewer places for bacteria to grow.
    • Part number is permanently marked on the housing and is not an entrapment point for bacteria.
  • The bearing insert features:
    • Zinc coated outer and inner rings for cost effective, reliable performance.
    • Zone hardened inner race provides a fully hardened ball path while leaving the rest of the inner ring unhardened, allowing better set screw holding power of the stainless set screw.
    • Rubber lip contact seal and stainless steel flinger resists corrosion.
    • Nylon retainer and Grade 10 balls for quieter operation and less vibration.
    • Anti-rotation rivet prevents outer ring creep, or rotation, within the housing.
    • H1 USDA/FDA compliant food grade grease.
