Features & Benefits

  • Browning® mounted ball air handling bearings are specifically designed and manufactured to air handling design specifications and are available in a wide variety of features:
    • ½" to 3 15/16"
    • 3 duty Series (100 (light), 200 (normal) and 300 (medium) Series)
    • 5 housing styles
    • 100 Series available in cast iron, ductile iron or stamped steel housings
  • Special air handling housing fit for easier insert static alignment when mounted on flexible, lightweight frames.
  • Additional noise test is added to ensure bearings meet the noise level requirements of the air handling industry.
  • Browning air handling ball bearings are available with 120° set screw locking or BOA® concentric locking.
  • Zone hardened inner race provides a fully hardened ball path while leaving the rest of the inner ring unhardened, allowing better holding power.
  • Incorporates a precision eccentric locking collar to mate with the inner ring for a reliable shaft hold.
  • Pillow block housing with a semi-solid, cast iron base provides an excellent mounting foundation and is integral to prevent sheet metal "buckling".
  • Rubber lip contact seal with auxiliary flinger for proven effective sealing against contaminants.
  • Anti-rotation rivet prevents outer ring creep or rotation within the housing.
  • Nylon retainer and Grade 10 balls for quieter operation and less vibration.
  • Lubrication groove in housing allowing for consistent grease distribution, factory-filled with Lithium complex NLGI 2 grease.
